Who we are

Enquiries

We use the name, phone number, email address, postcode, requested service and message you provide to respond, prepare quotations and arrange work. This is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, or to perform our contract with you. We also have a legitimate interest in managing correspondence and protecting our service against misuse. Please do not include sensitive information in your message. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Website enquiries are stored in our Hostinger-hosted database and sent to our team by email. Authorised staff can view contact details, messages, enquiry status and internal follow-up notes in a protected admin area. We record notification attempts and provider acceptance or failure to help identify delivery problems. Provider acceptance does not prove that a message reached an inbox.

Optional analytics

Enabling Analytics in Customise preferences, or choosing Accept all, allows Google Analytics cookies to measure page visits, call and WhatsApp link clicks, advice-page interactions and successful contact-form submissions. This helps us improve our website. A call-link click does not confirm a connected call or a booking.

Analytics uses cookies and sends technical and usage information to Google. We do not describe this information as anonymous. Our custom events exclude names, phone numbers, email addresses, postcodes, messages and advice-search text. Page addresses we explicitly send exclude arbitrary query strings; approved campaign labels may be included. Google signals and personalised advertising remain disabled.

Optional advertising measurement

Enabling Advertising measurement in Customise preferences, or choosing Accept all, permits advertising cookies and sharing ad-click identifiers and conversion events with Google so Google Ads can attribute enquiries to ads, report campaign performance and optimise bidding. We import phone-link clicks, WhatsApp-link clicks and successful enquiry events from Analytics into Google Ads. When advertising measurement is on but Analytics is off, our Google tag sends these enquiry actions without analytics cookies; our general page-view, scrolling and advice-interaction events remain off. We do not send your contact-form details to Google for enhanced conversions or enable personalised advertising. Leaving advertising measurement off denies advertising storage and advertising user-data consent, which limits Ads attribution.

Our basis for these optional measurements is your consent. Necessary only prevents our Google tag from loading, including cookieless measurement. You can browse and contact us without accepting. Change or withdraw your choice through Privacy settings at the bottom of any page. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing. Service providers

Hosting and email providers process information needed to operate this site and deliver your enquiries. Our website is hosted with Hostinger. Where Google services are used for email delivery or analytics, Google processes the relevant information. Technical logs and abuse-prevention controls may process network information to keep the service secure; these operational functions are separate from optional analytics. Providers may process information outside the UK, subject to applicable transfer safeguards.

WhatsApp and other external links open services operated by other organisations. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Retention and your rights

Google Analytics is configured to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months, without resetting the user retention period on new activity. Aggregated reports can remain available for longer. This is separate from the cookie lifetimes described in our Cookie Policy.

We keep enquiry and customer records for as long as needed to respond, provide services and meet applicable accounting, legal and dispute-handling obligations. Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
